Harris was 25 and died of ketamine, propofol and diazepam intoxication after prosecutors said Ryan, then 50, gave her powerful drugs from his practice.

An in-depth presentation by Manassas City Detective Brittany Alexander on an undercover drug deal worked in September of 2022 which transformed into a robbery and quickly escalated to an officer involved shooting.  Detectives Alexander, Crossey and Sgt. Sam Mello will cover details of the deal itself as well as their experiences with returning to work and the steps involved in Brittany’s mental health recovery. Det. Alexander will also be providing in-depth information on the aftermath she has experienced, how she was prepared to handle the situation that day, and what she has done to continue healing while working in a profession she is passionate about.
