Congratulations to Our Own Kandyce Cowart on Being Awarded the Victoria's Voice Corporate Hero Award!

We have many members who work tirelessly behind the scenes to make our communities safer. Most times without any special recognition. We would like to highlight a recent, very special award, to our own Kandyce Cowart!

Kandyce works for Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Louisiana and has been a member of NADDI for decades. She has led the NADDI of Louisiana Chapter since 2006 and was recently added to the NADDI Executive Board as an Associate Training and Education Director. While those titles are impressive, she is so much more!

Kandyce, with the support of her employer, Louisiana Blue Cross & Blue Shield, is involved in numerous community programs, coalitions and support organizations. She has a can-do attitude and runs circles around the energizer bunny!

We would like to share one of her most recent accomplishments. The Victoria's Voice Foundation, Corporate Hero Award.

During the December 2024 Gatsby Gala, the Victoria's Voice Foundation recognized two exceptional heroes for their outstanding contributions to our communities.

Tim Tebow was honored with the prestigious David Siegel Hero Award for his work fighting for the world’s most vulnerable people. Louisiana Blue and Kandyce Cowart were also honored with our Corporate Hero Award for their help setting the foundation for Victoria’s Voice to implement and expand lifesaving conversations across the country.

Congrats to the awardees!
