Overview and/or learning objectives
The objective of this course is to provide further education and knowledge of the Pennsylvania drug laws related to the medical field, safety with fentanyl and naloxone, preventing institutional drug diversion, an expert perspective on opioid prescribing, and current drug trends, specifically opioids.
Target audience
The target audience for this training includes medical professionals, first responders, law enforcement and compliance investigators.

The University of Pittsburgh is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
