Texas FlagNADDI of Texas

NADDI’s objective is simple: to improve its members’ ability to investigate, prosecute, and prevent illicit drug diversion.

Introduction

Welcome to the Home Page of the Texas Chapter of NADDI, also known as NADDI of Texas. Our goals are to provide education and training that will help our members identify illicit drug activity; to enhance drug prevention and investigation practices; and to promote cooperation and networking between stakeholders.

NADDI of Texas was established in 1999, and was active for over 10 years; unfortunately, it was dissolved in 2011 when the Board of Directors dissipated. In 2022 Texas members showed great interest in reviving their State Chapter and petitioned the Executive Board for reinstatement. On October 3, 2022 the Executive Board approved the reinstatement of the Texas Chapter of NADDI.

Some of our members have been involved with NADDI from its inception. Our members are from local, state and federal law enforcement agencies, state regulatory agencies, healthcare fraud investigators and pharmacy loss prevention. All of our members provide valuable time, energy, and resources to curb the current drug epidemic in the State of Texas.

NADDI of Texas’s main objective is to provide networking and training for the State of Texas. Our goal is to provide cooperative education and training in the current drug trends and specifics of illicit drug activity, including drug diversion, healthcare fraud, and techniques used for the investigation, prosecution and prevention within the state and nationwide.  We encourage the sharing of investigative information and communicating trends with our members. We strive to develop more effective measures to combat the illicit drug problem and enhance your individual job skills. We praise our members and the accomplishments of their efforts.

During the course of attaining that objective, NADDI of Texas will promote an atmosphere of cooperation and sharing of information between members and their respective agencies.

Stay tuned, there is so much more to come!
