California Chapter

NADDI of California

NADDI’s objective is simple: to improve its members’ ability to investigate, prosecute, and prevent illicit drug diversion.

Introduction

Welcome to the Home Page of the California Chapter of NADDI, also known as NADDI of California. Our goals are to provide education and training that will help our members identify illicit drug activity; to enhance drug prevention and investigation practices; and to promote cooperation and networking between stakeholders.

NADDI of California was established in March 1997, and has consistently been an active chapter. Some of our members have been involved with NADDI from its inception. Our members are from local, state and federal law enforcement agencies, state regulatory agencies, healthcare fraud investigators and pharmacy loss prevention. All of our members provide valuable time, energy, and resources to curb the current drug epidemic in the State of California.

NADDI of California’s main objective is to provide networking and training for the State of California. Our goal is to provide cooperative education and training in the current drug trends and specifics of illicit drug activity, including drug diversion, healthcare fraud, and techniques used for the investigation, prosecution and prevention within the state and nationwide.  We encourage the sharing of investigative information and communicating trends with our members. We strive to develop more effective measures to combat the illicit drug problem and enhance your individual job skills. We praise our members and the accomplishments of their efforts.

During the course of attaining that objective, NADDI of California will promote an atmosphere of cooperation and sharing of information between members and their respective agencies.

NADDI of California ~ Chapter History

California was the 11th State to establish a chapter within the NADDI organization. The State Chapter was approved on November 29, 2001 and was created by blending a Los Angeles based Law Enforcement group named PDIN (Professional Diversion Information Network) and the existing California NADDI membership.

The California Chapter has developed into a strong chapter over the previous 24 years providing both State and Regional Training’s in California, Hawaii and Nevada. Often leading the way on the west coast of the United States in pharmaceutical drug diversion training and networking.

Mark Horowitz and the current Board have continued to impress with the quality of training(s) provided throughout the State. We look forward to new initiatives in 2025!

We would also like to thank the following California members who have volunteered their time and efforts to the NADDI organization and the California State Chapter Board of Directors!
