The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for and has charge and custody of all of the funds, securities, and contracts of the NADDI organization.
The job of Chief Financial Officer is one of the most stressful and demanding positions of any organization, and Lynne Thompson manages her duties with professionalism, grace, and stringent oversight.
For over a decade, Lynne has been the oversight and the glue to the NADDI organization! She is well respected and honored in her position.

Lynne Thompson has been the National Treasurer for NADDI since 2007. Prior to this position, she was the president for the Kentucky Chapter of NADDI. Lynne began her law enforcement career in 1982 with the Division of Police, Lexington, Kentucky. Lynne was assigned to the Bureau of Patrol and the Bureau of Investigation. During her years in the Bureau of Investigation Lynne was assigned to the Primary Response/ Night Shift/Sexual Assault Unit, Robbery/ Homicide Unit and Narcotics Enforcement Unit. In 2004, she retired from the Division of Police with 22 years of service, twelve of those years the Narcotics Enforcement Unit. During that time, she was assigned to the Governor’s Prescription Drug Task Force and the Attorney General’s Task Force on Prescription Drugs, Legislative Subcommittee. This task force was responsible for changes and additions to Kentucky law regarding diversion of prescription drugs and KASPER, Kentucky Electronic Monitoring System.
After retiring from the Division of Police, Lynne was hired by the Kentucky Office of Attorney General and assigned to the Department of Criminal Investigations, Drug Enforcement Branch as an investigator. The primary focus of this branch is to investigate the diversion of prescription drugs. Between 2004 and 2007 she was assigned to the Attorney General’s Internet Pharmacy Task Force. This task force resulted in additional Kentucky laws regarding internet or out of state pharmacies shipping prescriptions into the Commonwealth. Lynne was also assigned to the Drug Enforcement Administration, Tactical Diversion Squad in Lexington, Kentucky. She retired from law enforcement in 2013 with 30 years of service.
During her law enforcement career, Lynne was a certified instructor with the Kentucky Law Enforcement Council and taught Criminal Investigations, Adult Sexual Assault and Prescription Drug Diversion Investigations to various Kentucky Law Enforcement agencies. She has received several awards, including the Meritorious Service Award from the Kentucky Pharmacist Association, Special Commendation Award from the Office of Attorney General, the 2013 Kentucky Officer of the Year Award, and numerous professional service and esteem awards.
