IL: Mendota Police Warn Of Dangerous Drugs

WLPO News –

Some dangerous drugs are making the rounds in Mendota.

The city’s police department put out a community alert about two specific drugs that are leading to overdoses.  One drug called Flualprazolam is marketed online as a research chemical.  However it’s being linked to more and more deaths.  Another drug to watch out for is called Eutylone.  The synthetic stimulant has been linked to cardiac effects leading to deaths.

Mendota officers say they’ve arrested multiple people in the last couple of months for possessing these drugs.  You’re urged not to ingest any medications, prescription pills, or capsules not prescribed by a licensed physician.
