Dan Zsido is an awesome addition to the NADDI Executive Board. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the NADDI organization and strives to keep our training’s fresh, fun, and educational.

Mr. Zsido began his career in law enforcement in 1982. He has held various assignments and positions during his law enforcement career as an investigator and supervisor in Patrol Operations, Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT), Field Training Operations (FTO), Street Crimes Unit, Community Policing (CPO), Community Education and the Narcotics Division.
Dan retired as a lieutenant from the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office in 2016, where he commanded the Narcotics Division comprised of the Pinellas Initiative with the CFHIDTA (Central Florida High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas), Strategic, Interdiction, Tactical, Diversion and Technical Operations with over 50 detectives, 8 law enforcement agencies, analysts and civilian personnel. He has 15 years of narcotics investigative experience in areas to include undercover operations in high schools, street drug purchases, drug search warrants, narcotics intelligence, pharmaceutical crimes and trafficking investigations. In 2009, Mr. Zsido was selected to establish and supervise the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office Strategic Diversion Task Force.
During this time, he developed a nationally recognized multi-agency entity that investigated pharmaceutical crimes i.e. doctor shopping, prescription fraud, drug trafficking organizations, rogue pharmacies and pill mill criminal enterprises. Mr. Zsido currently serves as the NADDI (National Association of Drug Diversion Investigators) National Training & Education Director since 2016, NADDI Florida Chapter President 2013-16 and NADDI active member since 2005. He is an active board director with the Pinellas NOPE (Narcotics Overdose Prevention & Education) and the DFAF (Drug Free America Foundation).
He provides informative and provoking narcotic trends training to law enforcement and educational drug awareness presentations to practitioners, schools and community groups. Mr. Zsido has a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from the Tampa College and is a graduate of the Drug Enforcement Administration Narcotics Course.
