The 1st Vice President performs the duties that the President and/or Executive Board may assign for the operation of the NADDI organization. While the duties can be exciting and fun, there are also many thankless tasks that most individuals don’t see.

Cuno brings a very personal professionalism to his job.  He always welcomes new and exciting challenges and NADDI is pleased to have him on the Executive Board.

Cuno Andersen served in law enforcement for 30 years at the state and local levels, over half of which being assigned to specialized narcotics units such as the VSP Blue Ridge Narcotics Task Force, the DEA HIDTA Task Force, the United States Customs Narcotics Task Force, and the Northern Virginia Gang Task Force. Over the years, he has was an undercover operative and participated in numerous local, state and federal investigations.

He retired from the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office in late 2015 where he was responsible for Prescription Fraud and Diversion related investigations. He has been a longtime member and facilitator of the Capital Area Drug Diversion Investigators (CADDI), past Virginia Chapter President and currently serving as the National Vice President of the National Association of Drug Diversion Investigators (NADDI).

Since his retirement, he has been employed as a Senior Consultant – Investigations in the Special Investigations Unit of the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association (Federal Employee Program) where he investigates fraud waste and abuse of the Federal Employee Health Benefit Program involving prescribers, pharmacies, members and dependents.
