NADDI OF MISSOURI
NADDI of MISSOURI
Welcome to the Home Page of the Missouri Chapter of the National Association of Drug Diversion Investigators, also known as NADDI of Missouri. Every state has been affected by the current opioid crisis, but Missouri has its own unique challenges including the controversy over the prescription drug monitoring program. NADDI of Missouri’s goals are to provide training that will help our members conduct drug diversion investigations and promote cooperation and networking between investigators and agencies.
Many NADDI of Missouri members are employed by pharmacies, healthcare institutions, and pharmaceutical manufacturers. However, one of our primary goals in 2020 is to increase the Chapter’s representation of local, state, and federal law enforcement organizations as well as state regulatory agencies. Our members are united through enforcing the laws and regulations that govern prescription drugs and health care in Missouri.
In addition to diversifying our Chapter’s membership, NADDI of Missouri plans to introduce training and education to key stakeholders across the state. If you reside or work outside of the St. Louis Metropolitan Area and would like to hear more about NADDI’s mission, please send us an email detailing your community’s specific needs.
Since one of NADDI of Missouri’s main objectives is training, we hold one full day of training every year and anticipate conducting a few shorter meetings during 2020. We often have guest speakers at these training sessions who share their expertise and experience. Attendance at all local and regional conferences is included in the $75 annual membership fee ($50 for law enforcement, state government, military, non-profits). Additionally, members will be kept up-to-date on current issues such as drug trends, changes in the law, and accomplishments of other members through an informative newsletter published quarterly.
Please contact us if you would like to become a member, ask our experts a question, or make a comment on a noteworthy topic!
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
NADDI of MISSOURI
Missouri was the 30th State to establish a chapter within the NADDI organization. The State Chapter was approved on June 24, 2011 and is an established State Chapter with a solid membership base. The Missouri State Chapter team has been diligently working on providing regular meetings, resources, and community events. They displayed Dougie the Drug Dog to a local community coalition event and engaged community leaders for their State Chapter training. The Missouri Chapter team has been proactive and are open to new ideas and challenges; share your ideas with them! The Chapter has some exciting plans for the future, and we are looking forward to awesome things in 2020!
