INTRODUCTION
Welcome to the Home Page of the Louisiana Chapter of the National Association of Drug Diversion Investigators, also known as Louisiana NADDI. Our goals are to provide training that will help our members conduct drug diversion investigations and to promote cooperation/networking between investigators, agencies, and relevant industries.
While the members of Louisiana NADDI come from varied backgrounds (law enforcement, regulatory, pharmaceutical, loss prevention, health care), we all share a common goal to investigate diversion and enforce the laws and regulations that govern both pharmaceutical substances as well as illicit substances.
Louisiana NADDI is also focused on training and networking – we are better when we work together as one team. For that reason, our chapter holds at least one Louisiana training event each year. Please check the training calendar for the dates of our training events as well as the details about topics of discussion and instructor information.
Finally, we strive to be a source of information – each member of our Louisiana NADDI Board is uniquely situated to provide a specific area of expertise regarding drug diversion. We strongly encourage you to reach out to us and allow us to be a resource for you.

CHAPTER HISTORY
Louisiana was the 22nd State to establish a chapter within the NADDI organization. The State Chapter was approved on November 13, 2006 and has been a robust chapter and amazing resource for the past 13 years. Many of the Louisiana Chapter members have been with NADDI since the inception of the Chapter and have provided dedicated support to maintain and sustain the Chapter.
President Kandyce Cowart has led the State Chapter team since its inception, providing regular meetings, resources, and the initiation of many special projects. We would like to highlight one of the numerous successful networking projects accomplished by the Louisiana Chapter which is the Drug Drop Box Initiative. Through a partnership and very generous grant with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana NADDI has partnered with the Louisiana Attorney General’s Office and has placed over 70 Drug Drop Boxes into parishes across the State of Louisiana. Way to go NADDI of Louisiana! We thank the Louisiana Board of Directors for their dedication and all their efforts!
We would like to thank the following Louisiana members who have volunteered their time and efforts to the NADDI organization and the Louisiana State Chapter Board of Directors!
