NADDI’s objective is simple: to improve its members’ ability to investigate, prosecute, and prevent pharmaceutical drug diversion.
NADDI of CALIFORNIA

INTRODUCTION

Welcome to the Home Page of the California Chapter of the National Association of Drug Diversion Investigators, also known as NADDI of California. Our goals are to provide training that will help our members conduct drug diversion investigations and to promote cooperation and networking between investigators and agencies.

NADDI of California was established in March 1997, and has consistently been an active chapter. Some of our members have been involved with NADDI from its inception. Our members are from local, state and federal law enforcement agencies, state regulatory agencies, health fraud investigators and pharmacy loss prevention. All of our members enforce the laws and regulations that govern prescription drugs and health care in California.

Since one of NADDI of California’s main objectives is training, we have quarterly meetings and often have guest speakers who share their expertise and experience. NADDI of California publishes an informative newsletter on a quarterly basis so that members know about current issues such as drug trends, changes in the law, and the accomplishments of our members.

NADDI of CALIFORNIA

CHAPTER HISTORY

California was the 11th State to establish a chapter within the NADDI organization. The State Chapter was approved on November 29, 2001 and was created by blending a Los Angeles based Law Enforcement group named PDIN (Professional Diversion Information Network) and the existing California NADDI membership. Marc Gonzalez was instrumental in the Chapters formation, and in leading the California Chapter for over 13 years.

The California Chapter has developed into a strong chapter over the previous 18 years providing both State and Regional Training’s in California, Hawaii and Nevada. Often leading the way on the west coast of the United States in pharmaceutical drug diversion training and networking.

Mark Horowitz and the current Board have continued to impress with the quality of training(s) provided throughout the State. We look forward to new initiatives in 2020!

We would also like to thank the following California members who have volunteered their time and efforts to the NADDI organization and the California State Chapter Board of Directors!

Victor Fazio – President, Secretary
