NADDI of ARIZONA
INTRODUCTION
Welcome to the Home Page of the National Association of Drug Diversion Investigators of Arizona (NADDI of Arizona).
NADDI of Arizona is a Region 8 State Chapter of the National Association of Drug Diversion Investigators, a non-profit organization working to facilitate cooperation between law enforcement, healthcare professionals, state regulatory agencies and pharmaceutical manufacturers in the prevention and investigation of prescription drug procurement through theft or fraud (diversion).
NADDI defines drug diversion as “any criminal act involving a prescription drug.”
The NADDI of Arizona Chapter requests our Arizona members to focus & share your experience(s) on the growth of prescription/pharmaceutical drug theft, fraud and distribution in our communities. The Arizona Chapter members are working to partner with local, state and federal authorities investigating and resolving cases involving these drugs. In addition to our knowledge and experience in this specific area we offer the following resources.
Cooperative education and training in the current trends and specifics of pharmaceutical drug diversion, investigation, prosecution and prevention within the state and nationwide;
Sharing investigative information and communicating with a wide variety of interested parties with regard to the nature, scope and impact of pharmaceutical drug diversion;
Developing more effective measures to combat the problem and enhancing your individual job skills.
Please consider contacting us in the event you are looking for additional resources, information, training or support in this work.

CHAPTER HISTORY
Arizona was the 26th State to establish a chapter within the NADDI organization. The State Chapter was approved on November 16, 2009 and has developed into a strong chapter over the following ten years. President Anne Louise Smith has led the State Chapter team since its inception providing regular meetings and resources. Just a few of the resources include Narcan Training, a national expert on Pain Management, and continued outreach to the stakeholders in their area.
