CA: Cop dies from fentanyl overdose, found dead at home

Fentanyl toxicity took this officer out. Some cops do the very drugs that they arrest people for

Officer De’Jon Packer, 24, with the San Jose Police Department died from a fentanyl overdose, according to an April 29, 2022 medical examiner report. De’Jon played football at San Jose State University prior to becoming a cop.

De’jon died on March 13, 2022 in Milpitas, California. De’jon was at a party with fellow police officers the night before he died.
